\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Using a standard 52-card deck, each player is dealt five cards. The aim of poker is to form the highest-ranking hand. Each player bets into the pot based on the value of their hand. The winning player takes the pot.<\/p>\n

The first player to make a bet is called the “active player”. The second player is called the “passive player”. During each betting period, all but one player may fold.<\/p>\n

The first player to fold may do so if he believes that he does not have a good hand. If all players Check, play goes straight to the next round. In a tie, the highest unmatched card breaks the tie. Likewise, a tie among wild cards is broken by the highest unmatched card.<\/p>\n

A player may also fold when he does not have a pair or better. In a draw, the player may decide to fill his draw with an extra card.<\/p>\n

If the player does not fold, the dealer is responsible for shuffle the deck. A joker counts as the fifth card in certain special hands.<\/p>\n

The player with the highest hand wins the pot. In a tie, the player with the second highest card wins. The player with the highest card breaks a tie when there are multiple people with the highest card. When there are no high cards, the player with the highest three of a kind is the winner.<\/p>\n

In many no-limit games, the size of the betting stack can be increased to a large amount at any time. This is called an “all-in.” However, if the player does not have enough betting chips to match his bet, he can fold.
